The team of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University reached the final stage of the competition.
On May 20–21, 2024, group stage matches took place in Lviv. The opponents of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University mainly represented by the Stary Lutsk University BC players were the teams of Lviv Polytechnic and Mykolaiv National Agrarian University.
In the first match, our team was close to snatching a positive result at the end of the match. However, she conceded to the players from Lviv. In the second match, Dmytro Tchaikovskyi's wards confidently defeated the team from Mykolaiv. This result allowed our basketball players to get to the finals of the 19th Summer Universiade of Ukraine in basketball among men's teams.
