Documents on education under the «Double Diploma» programme were handed over to Lesya Ukrainka University from Jan Dlugosz University in Częstochowa. The students of Faculty of Chemistry and Ecology received their diplomas.
The solemn academy was attended by Rector of the University Anatolii Tsos, Vice-Rector for Academic Work and Recruitment Yurii Hromyk, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Communication Nataliia Blahovirna, Dean of Faculty of Chemistry and Ecology Larysa Marushko, the honoured guest, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Slawomir Mysiak, the lecturers of Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, and the students.
The «Double Diploma» programme for the students of Faculty of Chemistry and Ecology was launched in 2019 together with the partner Polish higher education institution, Jan Dlugosz University in Częstochowa. According to Volodymyr Radziy, Head of Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Environment students had the opportunity to participate in the studies in Specialty «Biotechnology».
Currently, nine students of the faculty are studying under this programme.
Rector Anatolii Tsos congratulated the graduates on completing their studies under the «Double Diploma» programme and noted that the implementation of this programme is a great advantage of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. «It is extremely gratifying that now 147 students of our higher education institution are studying under the “Double Diploma” programme, and over the past seven-eight years, almost 300 of our students of various specialties have completed such studies. I thank you for the high-quality fulfillment of the requirements of studies in Poland. You demonstrated by your example that our students have a high level of knowledge, skills, and competences, and proved that our Ukrainian education is fairly competitive in the European space. May luck always accompany you, and your plans easily come true,» said Anatolii Vasyliovych.
Consul General Slawomir Misyak congratulated the graduates and their mentors. He emphasized that the implementation of such programmes is extremely important in modern conditions. «I wish that the Polish diploma you have obtained will definitely be useful, benefit you and your employers,» said Slawomir Misiak.
The graduates also thanked the administration and lecturers of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, the representatives of Polish educational institution for their support and opportunity to get education abroad. After that, Rector and Consul presented diplomas of graduation for the first level of education in the educational programme «Biotechnology», Specialty «Agrobiotechnology» to Daryna Ponomariova, Lyudmyla Snitsar, Nataliia Tsekot and Nataliia Snytiuk. At the end, a collective photo session was conducted.
